Assa North F.A.T. started earlier this week.

It has been months of hard work to get the substation for the Assa North project ready for its final acceptance test.

The factory acceptance test commenced earlier this week. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a small team of SPDC is present, while the other were unable to travel to the outfitting facilities. Therefore, the factory acceptance test is carried out virtually.

The prefabricated walk-in substations house medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) switchgear as well as auxiliary equipment to power the various production skids at client’s facility in Nigeria. The substations will be shipped to the site as soon as the test have been completed.

Thanks to all who have contributed and for the great work done so far.
