Majnoon Oilfield: a success story
In the Majnoon Oilfield in Shell Iraq, VONK delivered several substations to this location in the desert. A challenging project due to the hazardous conditions with sand, dust, heat and corrosion. With limited on-site facilities and a short lead time, the risks were too big to build and outfit on site. The client needed a pre-tested, reliable and complete substation which could be immediately installed safely and efficiently.
The execution of this project led to a high-quality end result, which led to a satisfied client. After the first delivery, the client awarded the delivery of the following substation, including a power management system. After delivery, our expert commissioning team not only completed the handover methodically and effectively, they also went the extra mile by helping the client commission other issues on the sites. In fact, the success with this client continues today as we are currently in talks for further extensions.
