A successful FAR set up
As a great example of our work, we successfully delivered a FAR (Field Auxiliary Room) which was part of a large domestic gas project for Shell Nigeria. The FAR connects the process equipment in the field to the control room via remote IO. The building was designed in such a way that it could withstand a blast load. The people inside the building were protected against fire by having a fire resistant design with two hours protection.
Fully tested plug and play
In this particular case, our client needed to build a plant in the swamps of southern Niger delta where access was very difficult and site conditions were harsh. We came up with this custom-made plug and play solution to guarantee the FAR could be executed and delivered on time.
